Mission
The Objectives of the society are:
Creativity Objectives- Secure an environment where artists can freely express themselves and develop their talents
Social Objectives- Create opportunities to socialize, share ideas and give support to fellow artists
Educational Objectives- Expose artists to new ideas and techniques
History
The Society was founded during 1972 in Vereeniging by Sheila Santilhano, and turns 53 this year. A formal Constitution was adopted and is reviewed and approved every year at the Annual General Meeting in January

The membership steadily increased over the years, currently we are 43 members
